New Music
Jordan Allen - “Way Down In LaGrange”
Jordan Allen delivers a sweltering summertime banger on the countrified southern rock anthem “Way Down In LaGrange.” The “Chattahoochee”-esque anthem sees the London-based singer reminiscing about his time kicking back in southwest Georgia “underneath the pines / through the kudzu vines” where he’d “spend all day on the lake / full throttle and half-baked.”
Nicholas Jamerson - “One With You” feat. Shelby Means
Prestonsburg’s Nicholas Jamerson teams up with Kentucky born, Wyoming based singer Shelby Means for “One With You.” The missive about and co-written with his partner Emily Irene also features banjo from Rachel Baiman, who Jamerson enlisted to produce the album the single is included on, The Narrow Way.
Miranda Lambert & Chris Stapleton - “A Song To Sing”
In one of the biggest powerhouse country collaborations in recent memory, Miranda Lambert and Kentucky’s Chris Stapleton have teamed up for a high-flying duet on “A Song To Sing” that touches on the highs and lows of love and how every moment is just another verse in the song of life you’re building together.
Spooky Fox - “In The Dark“
The Somerset native Spooky Fox sings of a true love decades in the making where you’d be your partner’s eyes if they were to go blind or continue singing them lullabies if they went deaf on “In The Dark.” The twangy ballad is equal parts heartbreaking and heartwarming as it highlights a level of love most everyone desires but few actually attain.
Benjamin Tod & Madison Hughes - “Goner”
The Western Kentucky native and Lost Dog Street Band front man today returns with his first solo music since last December’s “Privilege Of A Man” in “Goner.” The honky tonky tune follows this week’s theme of duets on the rundown with Tod being joined by Florida-born singer Madison Hughes for the song about escaping a relationship where the only good thing you got out of the person was a song.
